BioEdit
The 187th Corps. was a battalion during the Clone Wars (an unnamed Airborne Trooper Clone Officer also led the unit during the end of the Clone Wars towards Order 66 as depicted by Hasbro)
Little is known about the unit, nor have they had too many featured roles or appearances.
HistoryEdit
The battalion began as one of the smaller units during the middle of the Clone Wars during 21 BBY, and had very few distinct Clones enlisted from within.
The 187th grew in size towards the end of the war, and became more distinguished amongst the rest of the Grand Army of the Republic.
AppearanceEdit
The battalion's markings were purple, but only several pilots and gunners retained the distinct markings.
They had purple markings with pauldrons which resembled the marking patterns for the Phase 2 Shock Troopers or Coruscant Elite Guard Clones as depicted by Hasbro, though during a recent episodic storyreel arc,the unit retains its previous Phase 1 counterparts (though, now lacking a lead clone officer).
Notable MembersEdit
CMC 1702 TARIK
Trivia/FactsEdit
The battalion is actually named and referenced after a film that Mace Windu's actor in the Prequel Trilogy films (Samuel L. Jackson) was featured in known as '187'.
The battalion is also based on the 187th Infantry Regiment of the US Army, which mainly consisted of black, African, or African American soldiers during World War 2. Hence, Samuel L. Jackson and his Star Wars character; Mace Windu, being black.
Ironically, with Mace Windu being one of the main Jedi Council members and having a large unit, he is rarely seen fighting with his battalion as opposed to Plo Koon and the other Jedi Council members.
Like every other battalion, brigade, platoon, or other unit within the Republic in the Star Wars franchise, the 187th Corps. have been mistaken or referred to as a legion. They are a branch of the 91st.
Hasbro referred to the 187th Corps. as 'Mace Windu's Attack Battalion' in a figure pack or battlepack in 2006.

Because of Mace Windu being one of the first Jedi to be killed during or before Order 66, most troops in his battalion disobeyed the order, because most didn't receive it. Hence, becoming a team of rogue or rebel Clone Troopers fighting against the 501st Legion Stormtroopers.
There was also a platoon of BARC Troopers who were deployed during Order 66 during a 'Clone Wars Adventures' microseries comic; yet this is considered to be legends due to being led by an unnamed Republic Commando, and a Phase 1 ARC Trooper Commander.
The original 2009 Hasbro Mace Windu Clone Wars action figure originally included a unique Phase 1 helmet featuring the markings present for the Phase 2 Clones within Mace Windu's unit, for the unique helmet resembles the previous figures and other toys of the clones released from Hasbro prior to the release of the Jedi figure.
AppearancesEdit
The 187th Corps. first appeared in a short-story comic, but were eventually depicted in various merchandise following the comic and concept art that was revealed following the release of Star Wars Episode III in 2005. The unit was also featured in a few episodes of the Clone Wars series.

OverviewEdit
Clone medical officers were clones who were trained to heal soldiers. They operated on large spaceships such as Haven-class medical stations and on large cruisers. They differed from clone trooper medics, however, because they were not deployed on the battlefield nor trained as much in combat. They also had different uniforms.[1]
Armor and EquipmentEdit
Clone medical officers were not deployed on the battlefield, so they did not have armor.
Phase IEdit
From the beginning of the war to around 20 BBY,[2] the medical officer's uniform was Phase I. It consisted of a white suit with a bar on the left side. A patch with three dots was placed on their left arm. A maroon belt, maroon gloves, and tall maroon boots came with the white suit and white pants. It bore a close resemblence to clone naval officer uniforms.[1]
Phase IIEdit
Phase II was issued out just after Phase II clone trooper armor was issued. It consisted of a white tunic and pants. On the suit was a medical insignia in red on the right, and on the left was a bar with three red dots. Along with it came a pair of maroon boots, a maroon belt, and a white hat. No gloves were included. Red stripes were placed on the hat, suit, and pants.[3] It once again was similar to naval officer uniforms.[4]EquipmentEdit
Clone medical officers used various medical equipment in their line of work, along with data pads.[1] The insignia with three red dots present in badge form in Phase I and bar form in Phase II represented their medical specialty.[1] It is unknown what the bar in the Phase I design and large red insignia in the Phase II design meant.

Bio/HistoryEdit
Coric was an executive officer for the 501st Torrent Co. who served alongside his partner Denal towards the middle of the Clone Wars from the end of 22 BBY to the beginning of 21 BBY. He was originally an engineer, but became more skilled with healing wounded Clone Troopers; hence becoming a field medic like Kix.He met his fate during a brief battle in a Clone Wars novel.
PersonalityEdit
Coric was often good-humored, yet often had a tendency to become stressed-out or overwhelmed easily during missions and battles; especially whenever he was a sole survivor (as seen in the Clone Wars film).
AppearanceEdit
Coric has only worn Phase 1 armor with slightly modified 501st markings (reminiscent of Appo's Phase 2 armor).
He also has additional leg markings as he appears in the Clone Wars Adventures online game.
He was briefly seen with his helmet removed in a scene from the Clone Wars film, and has the usual (and common) 'high-fade' haircut that most Clone Troopers have. (His appearance in the 'Small Scrappy War!' comic is completely different; being bald and having a facial scar similar to that of Commander Cody.)
Trivia/FactsEdit
Coric is one of themoreminor enlisted members for the 501st Torrent Co., and was briefly introduced during the film; yet his name wasn't confirmed until the novelization. The Hasbro Wal-Mart Exclusive 501st 'Legion' (really Torrent Co.) Clone Trooper is actually meant to be Coric, yet the figure can also be portrayed as a standard enlisted Phase 1 501st Torrent Co. Clone Trooper.
He is known as the 'Jetpack Trooper' in the Clone Wars Adventures online game.
Captain Rex refers to him simply as, 'Sergeant' in the Clone Wars film during the scenes of the Teth rescue mission for Rhotta the Huttlet and the destruction of the CIS; Separatist droid outpost.
Denal was initially meant to replace Coric, aside from Coric originally being a generic 501st Sergeant or earlier version of Denal. Thus, Denal and Coric officially became partners in a novel, but were never shown on-screen together.
Denal's character model was actually used for Coric in the scene where he removed his helmet. Hasbro's action figure for Denal, however, confirms that Coric was actually Denal in the scene.
